Volunteer: Trout in the Classroom

This opportunity is for teachers participating in our Trout in the Classroom (TiC) program. Teachers are required to regularly report hours to remain in good standing and be eligible to participate in the following school year. Any time spent with the program (conducting lessons, performing tank maintenance, etc.) should be logged. Hours must be logged no later than 2 weeks from the date the activity was performed in order for NDOW to apply for in-kind match funds.

This opportunity is for National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) certified Basic Archery Instructors (BAI) to log the hours they spend coaching their students in preparation for the NASP Tournament. This allows the Nevada Department of Wildlife to apply for in-kind match funds from the time you already spend teaching archery. Hours must be logged no later than 2 weeks from the date the activity was performed.
