Who We Are
The Fisheries Division works to ensure the health and vitality of Nevada’s fish in its network of streams, rivers, lakes and reservoirs. Hatcheries produce and stock fish, and biologists manage fish and amphibian populations, water quality and aquatic habitat.
What We Do
Volunteers working with the Fisheries Division will assist in conducting Amphibian Surveys, Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Management, Fish Habitat Construction and Rehabilitation, Fish Spawning, Fish Stocking, Fisheries Data Entry, Hatchery Maintenance, Native Fish Surveys, and Sport Fish Surveys. Some of these projects involve being on a boat for the duration of the survey.
