Help us bring water to wildlife! Join NDOW and the Mule Deer Foundation - Elko Chapter to build a guzzler. A guzzler is constructed to provide a reliable water source to wildlife. The build will be a drive in build. A 4WD and high clearance vehicle is needed to access the guzzler. We will meet at coordinates 38.52546, -114.76866. More details to come.
Tools and materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Bring plenty of water and food/snacks. Dress in layers, as the weather can be cold in the morning and warm up in the afternoon. Wear comfortable work/hiking boots, layers, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We suggest bringing hearing protection, sunglasses for eye protection, knee pads, and work gloves if you have them. Dates are subject to change. For more information, contact Michelle Lopez at michelle.lopez@ndow.org or (702) 668-3552.
