Join NDOW & Elko Bighorns Unlimited (EBU) to help build a 10,000 gallon big game guzzler targeting elk, mule deer and a variety of other wildlife species in the Leach Mountains of Elko County. This guzzler is located approximately 114 miles from Elko, NV. The build day will be June 27th. All volunteers are welcome to join us at basecamp from Friday evening through Sunday morning. Meals will be provided by EBU from Friday night dinner through Sunday Morning breakfast. Saturday night EBU will host a raffle for all volunteers!
All tools and materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Please bring plenty of water, food or snacks. We recommend to dress in layers to accommodate for temperature fluctuations throughout the day. Plan on bringing gloves, closed toed shoes/boots, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses. Access into the site will require a 4x4 vehicle or a UTV/ATV.
